Excuse me

Excuse me, but God just told me to praise,
so pardon me while the praise wheel inside me spins and whirs;
Do not worry. I am still here.
I am more here than ever

Stabilizing and strengthening your weakest parts

To stabilize weak body muscles,
strengthen surrounding body muscles
while strengthening the weak

To stabilize weak spiritual muscles,
strengthen surrounding spiritual muscles
while strengthening the weak

Everything is in the system
and that within that
and that within that

Come, O weary one

Come, O weary one
Come to the cave
deep and protecting
sheltering and hiding
womb of my earth
Come and rest

The amazingly new

Let me turn you around, says the Lord
let me boulverser you
let me turn the downside up
the upside down
the inside out
the outside, let me shred into confetti paper –
let me surprise you
let me dumbstruck you
let me take you by the hand of your heart
and whisk you away to the constellations
let me redo you
let me mess you up
let me reconstruct
let me cut and paste
let me create
your sense of sense doesn’t make any sense in my presence – listen!
Let go of the known
to step into the weightless unknown
Come to healing
come to growth
come
release all anchors
be shattered
let me put you back together
but not back together:
until you are something

amazingly

new

The spiritual process of transforming trauma

When trauma loss ceases to be your full identity
you are on your way;
When trauma loss dissolves into your identity –
Ah! Transformation!

Hungering to go deeper? An opportunity to gather

Friends on the Journey,

If you are seeking to go deeper into your spiritual life, I am now hosting spiritual conversations based off my posts. Do my posts inspire thoughts and conversations within you? Now we can talk about this in virtual person. It will be over Zoom, a couple times a month. Join by hopping into my Patreon group, give the amount that brings you joy.* That is, this is also an equity group. Then, we get to journey together in a deeper way, exploring the spiritual path.

The first conversation will be on my last post, the Parable Of the Woman Who Needed Strength. I am including it here for your convenience.

People who join will have the opportunity for gathering to focus on the inner life of spirit. I extend a special invitation for those who have left religion or who are spiritual but not religious, and everybody from all traditions and non-traditions is invited. The ground rule for all conversation is this: There is to be no proselytizing, shaming, blaming for what someone believes or does not believe. Infinite love is infinite.

Join my Patreon group here.

In the next days I will send a private message to the Patreon folks to figure out what date would be best.

See you soon.
Meisaan

Parable of the woman who needed strength

There once was a woman who faced a great trial, and she cried out to God, “God, I need more strength!” God responded, “To grow stronger, you need to use the strength you have.” But instead of entering into the trial, she watched the trial grow larger. She cried out even louder, “God, I need more strength!” God responded, “To grow stronger, you need to use the strength you have.” But instead of entering into the trial, she watched the trial grow enormously large. She cried out yet once more, “God, I need more strength!” God responded yet again, “To grow stronger, you need to use the strength you have.” At that point, the woman looked at the enormous trial and tore her clothes in despair. She cried out to God, “God, I begged you for strength and received none! The trial is still here!” And the woman was overcome.
