The waiting, II

No one and nothing can give you that still space of repose;
to find it, you must get up and look for it,
and when you look for it you must bleed to find it:
There is no map, no book of answers
no poem of enlightenment;
you must quit your house, journey, thirst, and fail:
Those willing to do so will receive
Those not willing to do so will wail and sigh,
for repose comes in failure
as failure best shows the nature of the Lord
