Ancient wounds

God can be a tender father
but for those who’ve never had a tender father
God can be a tender mother
but for those who’ve never had a tender mother
God can be a tender spirit
and soothe
and soothe
and soothe in all shapelessness
slowly healing ancient wounds

I love your poetry, Meisaan, and frequently repost your blogs on my facebook page. I love how just a few inspired words can cause revelation and healing!

I was also glad to hear you are in Chicago, as I am from the suburbs and still have family in the area. So nice to see God at work in the “windy city”. Godspeed to you, dear sister. ♥Philly

Abodawee – I am touched that you find the poems meaningful and healing. Thank you for reposting and spreading the word. May those who are hungry find food in all the ways God feeds us. – mc
