The clarity of unknowing

It is much better to praise God in your unknowing,
for then God is God, and not your knowing

Life is not about your ego, it is about being honed

Rejoice when you meet people who expose your weaknesses!
Rejoice when they can show you your faults!
Do not cast these people away – instead, stay close to them;
life is not about your ego, it is about being honed

Parable of the woman who believed all was One

There once was a woman who believed that everything was One and so she stopped caring about suffering or injustice or the desecration of the earth. Instead, she sat on her meditation cushion and listened to the screams coming in through her window and meditated on how the screaming was, also, part of the One. Then she went to sleep.

The lesson of love is to let yourself go
so you can come to the self
so you can come to what is larger
