Parable of the woman who worked for good

There once was a woman who worked for good and to stamp out evil, but one day she realized that nothing was pure, and she sat down and cried. She never did anything again.

It does not matter what obstacles you face

It does not matter what obstacles you face, says the Lord
What matters is if you have the tools
What matters is if you have the fire
What matters is if you are ready

Are you ready with humility?
Without this tool, the others will break

A conversation between the plant and the Lord

Root me in your heart, says the plant
Yes, but tell me why, says the Lord

Most soil is too hard, says the plant
Yes, many hearts are, says the Lord

Most soil doesn’t have space to breathe, says the plant
Yes, many hearts don’t, says the Lord

Most soil isn’t fertile, says the plant
Yes, many hearts refuse to hold death, says the Lord

Most soil is too restricted, says the plant
Yes, many hearts are too small, says the Lord

I want to grow forever, says the plant fiercely. That is why
I want to be rooted in your heart:

And the Lord gently gathered the plant,
tender roots and all, into the infinite heart

Time check

Protect your time
no invisible leaks

Distractions can bring you closer
or drive you away
stay alert

Rituals can bring you closer
or mask the slow leaks
stay alert

Parable of the pebble, the waterfall, and the moon

There once was a pebble, a waterfall, and a moon. One day, the pebble said, “I will only believe that God exists if God looks like me!”

“So be it,” God said and turned into a pebble. Then the pebble rejoiced at finding God and told its friends that it knew the shape and dimension of God: God had the exact likeness of a pebble, it exclaimed, and it grew very smug.

One day, the waterfall said, “I will only believe that God exists if God looks like me!”

“So be it,” God said and turned into a waterfall. Then the waterfall rejoiced at finding God and told its friends that it knew the shape and dimension of God: God had the exact likeness of a waterfall, it exclaimed, and it grew very smug.

Then one day, the moon said, “I will believe that God exists if God looks like me!”

“So be it,” God said and turned into a moon.

But the moon, being up high, had seen God turn into a pebble and a waterfall. So one day it said to God, who was also in the shape of the moon, “I know you can take any form you wish. You can be a pebble, but you are not a pebble. You can be a waterfall, but you are not a waterfall. You can be a moon, but you are not a moon.”

“Yes, I love you, so I have come to you as you have asked,” says the Lord.

“You know who I am and you take my form. But I do not know who you are,” the moon said. “You have indeed come to me. And because I love you, please bring me to you.”

And so God brought the moon into Godself.
