My friends, if you are looking to return to calm: Lynette Davis and I share two meditations to use during anxious times. Lynette shares a wonderful, classic body meditation to bring you back to awareness. I share an embodied meditation called “You Bring Me Back to Center”.
What is an embodied meditation? So often, meditation that we engage in resides in the mind. That is a good place to start, but the body also reacts to stress and externals. An embodied meditation moves that calm from the mind into the body. It is a calming technique, as well as a healing technique to bring you back to yourself.
