The only liberating way through tough relationships
is on the path of compassion;
oftentimes, the path does not exist
you must forge it

There is nothing left.
There is nothing left.
I’ve thrown out the furniture
the jewelry, the photos, the bed
even my spare set of socks
for all of this takes up space
which you, the God of infinity, plan to fill
and so I sweep my empty floor
seeking to give you all the space I have
for the width of a hair is too much to keep
for the width of a hair is too much to keep.

Please clean your house.
Please clean your house.
It is so full I cannot enter through the door
and the back door is blocked, too;
you call for me but leave no space for me to enter.
Please clean your house.
