rushing, dense freedom
wordless unity: heart beating beneath you, lungs pumping, legs propelling you both
through the glowing mist

I bathe in the softness of the moonlight
gentle rays of light caress my dampened skin;
my hair, wet, dangles, drips
I pause and turn, waiting for you

Sometimes I am beautiful, says the Lord
and sometimes I am putrid:
Keep watch! Do not be lulled by your images of me,
that first step to blindness

On the other side, the abyss:
Go! Jump out! Die!
Then tell the world what you saw

and for this, the weak shatter
and for this, the strong return to me

The main difference between them and you
is that they choose to fill their hearts with love
while you fill yours with resentment
