On comparing

Do not compare yourself to them.
That is a source of eternal unhappiness.
Instead, rejoice that you have me,
rejoice that they have me, too:
Focus on eternity, and the lack will disappear
focus on comparing and watch yourself be consumed

Somewhere, someone is praying for you,
perhaps by name, perhaps in praying for the world;
but even if the latter is true,
the thing about prayer is that it can never be spread too thin:
Somewhere, someone is praying for you.
