Compassion is easy when there are no obstacles to compassion
The more obstacles, the harder compassion is, and yet the more necessary –
the desert knows this.
Fertility is easy in a rain forest!
But for the desert to be fertile,
it knows the importance of one drop
and then it knows the importance of hope
