Touching the hem

Reaching out and being healed
still requires the outstretched arm
and the faith that stretching can lead to healing

  1. The woman who touched the hem of Jesus’s cloak to be healed is one of my favourite healing stories, and your poem takes me even deeper into her story and into my own. Thank you

You’re welcome, Julia. May we stretch to God, arms and spirit and all; may God help us stretch, reaching further than we thought. And when we can go no further, may God come in, stretching for us. – meisaan

      • Yes. I am certainly being stretched at the moment. Perhaps, almost certain, and even when I can’t touch it and feel to be alone, God is stretching with and for me! Love Julia
