I might be plain

 
I might be plain
but I know the sound
of mist soaking into the grass
and the dazzling taste of sunlight
and the wonderful, thick patience
needed to greet the crescent moon;
it is fine that I am plain
for what is most elegant, most exquisite
is often right in front of us,
hidden
