Sometimes it’s difficult to allow ourselves to feel because we can’t deal with the pain, but to have compassion you must feel the good and bad in life.
Agreed. In my experience, compassion and pain are very closely linked – almost the flip side of the same coin. True compassion opens us up to the entire spectrum of emotions, of living, of life. Including forgiveness.
