Sometimes life stretches out in one, great, unhurried expanse
like the slow, rolling hills of Nebraska;
sometimes it crumples together, dense and rugged
and I constantly lose my footing;
however the path unfolds before me, please keep me on the path
no matter how many times I stumble and fall
